Istanbul Atatürk A-SMGCS

Atatürk International Airport is Europe's 10th busiest airport. HITT delivered both the A3000 A-SMGCS and Airport Insight systems. The A3000 A-SMGCS system contains two surface movement radars, multilateration and ADS-B sensors, including presentation of stopbar en runway lighting and meteo data.

Ürümqi Diwopu A-SMGCS

Ürümqi Diwopu International Airport has been expanded in 2008 in order to be capable of handling 16.35 million passengers annually. HITT delivered the A3000 A-SMGCS system including multilateration and ADS-B in order to cope with the traffic grow.

Shanghai Honqiao A-SMGCS

Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport handled nearly 23 million passengers in 2008, making it the fourth busiest airport in China. The A3000 A-SMGCS system uses 4 approach radars, 2 surface movement radars and a multilateration/ADS-B system as sensors. Furthermore it incorporates an integrated voice recording system.

New Delhi Indira Gandhi SMGCS

The Indira Gandhi International Airport is the busiest airport in India in terms of number of daily flights. The airport operates three runways, the newest runway is 4.43 kilometre long, making it one of the longest operational runways in Asia. HITT delivered the SMGCS to cover this runway. From contract to site acceptance, this project was implemented to the full satisfaction of AAI in just 18 days, including training of air traffic controllers.

Ankara Esenboğa A-SMGCS

Esenboğa international Airport is located 28 km east of Ankara. It was awarded as the best European airport by ACI Europe (Airport Council International) in 2009. HITT delivered both the A3000 A-SMGCS and Airport Insight systems. The A3000 A-SMGCS system contains two surface movement radars, multilateration and ADS-B sensors, including presentation of stopbar en runway lighting and meteo data.

Antalya A-SMGCS

Antalya airport, located in Turkey's primary holiday destination, is Turkeys 2nd busiest airport. The airport is built to accommodate the millions of passengers who come to Turkey's Mediterranean beaches in summer. HITT delivered both the A3000 A-SMGCS and Airport Insight systems. The A3000 A-SMGCS system contains two surface movement radars, multilateration and ADS-B sensors, including presentation of stopbar en runway lighting and meteo data.

Copenhagen A-SMGCS

Copenhagen is the largest airport in Scandinavia with 20.9 million passengers in 2006. One of the three runways has various uses which depend on the weather. Runway status is shown at all times. Special features include: user interface that is compliant with Danish-Swedish Interface Specification, tight integration with airfield lighting and navigation equipment, multiple radars, multilateration, and use of radar to enforce Critical Security Restricted Area (CSRA).

Dublin A-SMGCS

One of the main challenges at Dublin Airport is to maintain capacity and throughput. Dublin Airport is a major hub for Ryan Air and Air Lingus. Peak traffic amounts to approximately 43 flights per hour, of which 80% is handled by a single runway. Even at 02:00 AM there are still 31 flights per hour.

The A3000 A-SMGCS replaces the previous system of ground movement control. The new system provides tracking, automatic labelling, alerting and stop bar control.

Oslo - Gardermoen A-SMGCS

In October 1998 Oslo-Gardermoen was the very first airfield with a tight integration between airfield lighting and A-SMGCS. HITT's system controls lighting to route aircraft to the gate automatically. It uses information from  Gate Management and Docking, for reliable identification of outbound aircraft, far before multilateration became common. Since the system went operational, it evolved with new functionality and computing platforms. Our systems truly are modular and flexible.

Stockholm - Arlanda A-SMGCS

The eye-catching control tower for air traffic at Stockholm Airport Arlanda houses a modern control-system for ground movement. One of the first systems to use the Danish Swedish Interface (DSI) specification, not only for the traffic overview but also for flight lists on traffic displays. The system is fully  role-based for the positions in the Tower, Ground and Apron. Moreover, the system covers the airfield with a combination of three radars, multilateration and ADS-B.
